Ward Halloween Party
Last night was our ward Halloween party and it was a lot of fun! Here we are, all dressed up and ready for the party:
The party started with dinner and lots of visiting. Later, there was an activity for the kids, then all of the kids were able to walk across the stage so everyone could see all of their costumes, and finally, we pulled out some carnival like games for everyone to play and the kids were able to go trick-or-treating around the classrooms.
The RS had a cake walk and everyone was a winner. (We had a TON of cupcakes!) There was also face painting, donut on a string, a fishing for treats, bean bag toss... and I'm not sure what else. Everyone seemed to have a great time!
During the dinner portion, all the carved pumpkins were displayed and people could vote on their favorite. Later that night they announced the winners... Cadi and I got 2nd place for ours! There were a lot of pumpkins! At first I guessed that there were at least 20 but when I looked at the pics and counted, there were well over 30, maybe as many as 40! Our prize was a $5 gift card to Dairy Queen, so I think we'll be stopping by there to share a blizzard soon. ;)
We all had fun, and some friends we invited had a lot of fun, too! :)
