Gnome Gone Missing

To answer the question posted in a comment on my initial post about this "Funny Little Gnome", apparently, our friend has mysteriously disappeared. 

I have to say that I'm glad the people at the US Forestry Service have a fun sense of humor.  This is not the first time I've gotten a chuckle from them.  Previously, when the camera went out and the screen was all blue, they had posted for us not to be alarmed, Mt. St. Helens was not being attacked by Smurfs.  They've had silly comments about marks on the lens or mishaps with the camera from time to time and I find it entertaining. :)

Plus, the view of the mountain (when you can actually see her) is absolutely stunning, so it's always nice to check it out from time to time. :)  Incidentally, I am posting this at 2:15pm, my time, and you CAN see her right now.  This weekend should be a good viewing time too, we have nice weather coming our way. :)
